Dear Ambassador Lago,

I hope all is well with you.

I am writing to you to

1) seek your reconfirmation that Mr. Sergio Benitez, or other OAS representative, will be present to observe the Belize Territorial Volunteers’ mahogany tree planting activity, scheduled for Tuesday 30 April 2013 at Gracias Adios and

2) extend the invitation to OAS observers to be present for the plaque laying at Aguas Turbias which the group has scheduled for this coming Saturday 27 April 2013.

During the latter event, the group will be adding a newly purchased Belize nameplate to Belize’s northern most border marker, which presently bares only the names of Guatemala and Mexico.

Once again, the activities of the Belize Territorial Volunteers are not  intended to alienate anyone, but rather to reaffirm Belize’s equal right to existence, and our desire to continue doing so peacefully alongside our neighbors.

Thanking you in advance,
Samiyyah RIFQA Andrewin
